You don’t have to have
it all together.

Replaying conversations? Feeling stretched thin? We can work through what’s weighing on you and find ways forward.

Anxiety & overthinking

Second-guessing yourself, preparing for every possibility, or feeling like you should always be doing more. We can explore the pressure you’re under and practice different ways to respond.

Explore anxiety and perfectionism support

Burnout & boundaries

Being the reliable one can get exhausting. We can look at what’s draining you, what’s yours to carry, and where you might need more support.

Identity & relationships

A queer-affirming space to explore who you are, what you want, and patterns in your relationships. Your identity doesn’t need to be the reason you come to therapy.

Warm, curious,
and easy to talk to.

I’m Jake Link, an MSW candidate at the University of Kentucky. I offer online therapy under supervision at AMRI Counseling.

I’ll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and work with you on what matters. There’s room for humor, practical tools, and talking things through.

My training includes cognitive behavioral and acceptance-based approaches, with ongoing clinical supervision.

A few practical
questions

Who do you work with?

I work with youth, teens, adults, and couples. AMRI can help confirm whether my services fit what you’re looking for.

Can we work together from anywhere in Florida?

You don’t need to be near AMRI’s Miami office to ask about working with me. Online sessions let you connect from elsewhere in Florida, with care provided through my supervised practice at AMRI Counseling.

You need to be physically located in Florida during sessions. AMRI will confirm whether working with me is appropriate for your location and needs.

What if I’m traveling?

Let AMRI and me know before a session if you’ll be outside Florida. My current service area is Wisconsin and Florida; we’ll check whether a session can take place before you join from another location.

What does it cost? Can I use insurance?

AMRI Counseling can confirm the session fee and whether your specific insurance plan covers appointments with me. For payment questions, call 414-455-3879 or email clinic@amricounseling.com.

You can check these details before requesting an appointment. Call 414-455-3879 and ask about working with Jake Link.

Are you a licensed therapist?

I’m an MSW candidate and clinical social work intern, not independently licensed. I provide therapy through AMRI Counseling under clinical supervision while completing my degree.

When are appointments available?

My availability is primarily evenings and weekends. AMRI’s appointment portal displays Central Time. Most of Florida is on Eastern Time, one hour ahead; parts of the Panhandle are on Central Time. Check the displayed timezone before choosing a time.

The portal shows appointment-request options. AMRI confirms scheduling and whether a recurring time works for you.

What do I need for online sessions?

A reliable internet connection, a phone, tablet, or computer that supports video, and a private place where you can talk. AMRI provides the telehealth details as part of getting started. If access is a concern, contact the clinic to discuss your options.

What if I don’t know whether we’re a fit?

AMRI can help you decide whether working with me fits your needs. You can also use our first appointment to ask questions and get a feel for my approach.

What happens at the first appointment?

We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, some of your background, and what you’d like help with. We’ll also go over confidentiality, how sessions work, and any questions you have. You can get a feel for working with me, and we’ll discuss next steps together.
